Government of Nepal, Ministry of Health and Population Notice Regarding Submission of Applications for the "Minister of Health Bloomberg Public Health Award"
The Ministry of Health and Population, under the Government of Nepal, is pleased to announce the "Minister of Health Bloomberg Public Health Award" in recognition of individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to reducing, controlling, and regulating the import, production, sale, distribution, and consumption of tobacco products. This prestigious award aims to honor those who have actively worked towards minimizing the use of tobacco and raising public awareness about the harmful effects of smoking and tobacco consumption.
The award will be bestowed upon six deserving recipients, including individuals, associations, law enforcement agencies, and employees working in such agencies. Eligible candidates may include those who have played a vital role in implementing existing tobacco control and regulation laws, journalists who have contributed to spreading awareness, and organizations that have actively campaigned against smoking and tobacco consumption.
To apply for the "Minister of Health Bloomberg Public Health Award," interested individuals and organizations are requested to submit their applications outlining their contributions by the deadline of 2080/02/05.
