National Examination Board (NEB) Appeal Regarding SEE 2081

Government of Nepal, National Examination Board (NEB), Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, Nepal, Appeal Regarding Secondary Education Examination (SEE)

The Secondary Education Examination (SEE) for the year 2081, scheduled to begin on Thursday, Chaitra 07, 2081, will include a total of 5,14,071 examinees (2,57,730 girls, 2,56,311 boys, and 30 others) from 11,216 schools (both community and institutional). These students will participate in the examination from 2,080 centers (2,079 in Nepal and 1 in Japan).

Out of the total examinees, 16,947 students will appear from the Technical Stream.

A total of 77,817 personnel, including Center Chiefs, Assistant Center Chiefs, Invigilators, Assistants/Support Staff, and Security Personnel, will be directly deployed at examination centers.

In order to conduct the SEE in a disciplined, organized, dignified, fair, fearless, and peaceful environment, orientation programs for the deployed staff (including Center Chiefs) have already been completed under the coordination of Provincial Examination Operation and Management Committees in all seven provinces and District Examination Coordination Committees in all 77 districts. Likewise, arrangements for transporting examination materials, such as question papers and answer sheets, to the nearest security bodies and examination centers have been finalized, as per updates from the relevant authorities.

This year, the SEE will be conducted based on the Secondary Education Curriculum 2078, and results will be published and certified according to the Letter Grading Directive 2078.

As the examination is a regular and important process, and considering students have already participated in various assessments before reaching this stage, the National Examination Board is confident that students will participate smoothly in this examination as they have done in the past.

The National Examination Board expresses sincere gratitude to all stakeholders, including concerned entities under the Federal, Provincial, and Local Governments, for their collaborative efforts to ensure a clean, organized, dignified, fearless, and peaceful examination. The Board kindly urges for continued support and coordination until the completion of the examination.

Finally, the NEB makes a heartfelt appeal to all examinees to participate with high morale and confidence.
