Alta Vista Concluded Hospitality Management Teachers Meet Program

KATHMANDU – 18 April 2022, On the auspicious occasion of the 16th Anniversary of Alta Vista, A School of Spanish Language, Hospitality Management Teachers Meet was held at Hotel Le Himalaya this Monday, 18th April 2022. Honorary Consulate General of Spain for Nepal, Mrs. Ambica Shrestha was present to support the event today. 

Mr. Pepe Oriola from CEDEU University, Spain inaugurated the newly established partnership of Alta Vista, a school of Spanish Language, and CEDEU University, Spain. Alta Vista Nepal will be taking care of all the recruitments from Nepal to CEDEU University, Spain.

Pepe said that he is very excited about this partnership and there is no better partner than Alta Vista to take the recruitment ahead for Nepal and other Asian countries for CEDEU University.

CEDEU is a private university accredited by the community of Madrid affiliated with the Rey Juan Carlos University. Founding member of Alta Vista, Mr. Jackson Subedi, gave the presentation on Alta Vista’s journey of 16 years, partnership with CEDEU University and why students should study in Spain?

Hotelier and General Manager of Babar Mahal Vilas, Mr. Jayesh Rimal, Chief Guest of the event was delighted with the Bachelor in Hospitality and Tourism Management program offered for Nepalese in Spain. Internship experience for Nepalese in Spain will be an excellent opportunity to experience the European culture at work. “It will be an immense learning for Nepalese”, he iterated.

The BHTM Curriculum also has the mandatory internship supported by Mij Hotels and Restaurants Chain in Madrid. Mr. Gonzalo Basa Fagalde, the founding partner of the chain of Restaurants and Bar like Mati’s Bar, Benji’s Bar, and Noname Bar in Madrid, Spain was also present in the event. He will be supporting the students with Internship opportunities in Spain.

Hospitality Management Teachers, Trainers from different colleges and training schools, and Principals from various colleges were present at the event. HM Teachers think that the Internship opportunities in Spain will be a good opportunity to have a European experience for HM Students.

Founding member of Alta Vista, Mrs. Shrijana Subedi distributed tokens of love to all the guests from Spain and Nepal. Mr. Pepe Oriola, CEDEU representative shared his appreciation for his speech.

With the presence of around 70-80 people in the Seminar Room of Hotel Le Himalaya, Kathmandu, the event was a great success. “Students will have a promising European education lifestyle during their stay in Spain”, said Jackson Subedi, founding member of Alta Vista and Regional Manager CEDEU Nepal.
