The winners of the 94th edition of the prestigious Oscar Academy Awards have been announced in various categories. Jane Campion has been named the best director of the 94th edition of the Oscars. She won the title for 'The Power of the Dog'.
Earlier nominated for direction from 'Piano', she became the third woman to win an Oscar after Chloe Chow (2021) and Catherine Bigelow (2010). She directed the film 'Power of the Dog' which was nominated in most genres.
CODAhas also won the title of best film. Directed by Sian Heder, the film tells the story of a musical journey of a woman born into the 'Diff' family.
Jane is also the first female director to be nominated in most genres. Along with Power of the Dog, Jane also broke the Oscar-nominated female director's record twice.
Jessica Chastain also won the title of Best Actress. She won for 'Eyes of Tammy Faye'.
