4,250 Community Schools Selected for President Educational Reform Program:
4,250 community schools across the country have been selected for the Presidential Educational Reform Program. The report including the list of selected schools was handed over by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology on Thursday.
Minister for Education, Science, and Technology Krishna Gopal Shrestha handed over the report to Prime Minister KP Oli at a function held at the PM's residence in Baluwatar.
For the first time, the government has submitted a report with a program worth Rs 5.6 billion. In the report, the amount has been distributed by selecting 4,250 schools across the country.
Rs. 10 million to Rs. 650,000 has been provided to 4,250 schools out of 6,921 applications.
Building Construction, Child Development Center Construction, Floor Addition, Trust Building, Building Retrofitting, Toilet Construction, Girls Toilet Construction, Drinking Water and Sanitation Facilities, Learning Materials / Educational Materials, Computer System, Science Laboratory, Library Development to Educational Materials Solar Panel, Internet System The budget has been allocated on the basis of priorities including interactive boards, smart boards, projectors, development of online and offline content, new technology for quality education.
