
A total of 37,911 students from Karnali Province will participate in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) scheduled to begin from Chaitra 7, 2081.
According to Lok Prasad Paudel, Information Officer and Senior Education Officer at the Education Development Directorate, Karnali Province, 37805 students under the general category, 106 under the technical category, 37697 regular students, and 224 students for grade improvement will take part in the examination.
Among the 10 districts of Karnali Province, Surkhet has the highest number of examinees at 9,513, while Dolpa has the lowest number of examinees with 777 students.
Likewise, 6,196 students will take the exam from Dailekh, 4,668 from Jajarkot, 4,269 from Salyan, 4,089 from Kalikot, 3,668 from Rukum West, 2,681 from Jumla, 1,104 from Humla, and 946 from Mugu, according to Information Officer Paudel.
Similarly, among the 180 exam centers across the 10 districts, Surkhet has the highest with 33 centers and Dolpa has the lowest with only 4 centers. A total of 6,165 personnel will be deployed, including 180 center chiefs, 252 assistant center chiefs, 1,895 inspectors, 380 exam assistants, 758 office assistants, and 2,700 security personnel, as per the Directorate.
Information Officer Paudel informed that answer sheets have already been dispatched to all 10 districts of Karnali Province, and a two-day orientation program regarding exam operation and management has also been conducted with the heads of the respective district units. He also stated that the budget required for exam operation and management has already been sent to all districts.
The Education Development Directorate, Surkhet, has allocated a total budget of NPR 13,930,500, which includes NPR 12,495,750 for exam centers and NPR 1,434,750 for the units.
