2811 Students to Participate in Secondary Education Examination (SEE) in Lamjung
The Secondary Education Examination (SEE) is one of the most significant exams in Nepal, and preparations are underway in the Lamjung district. This year, 2,811 students from 87 secondary schools across the district will be taking the exam.
Fewer examinees than last year:
Compared to the previous year, there are fewer examinees taking the exam this year. Last year, a total of 3,017 students gave SEE, while this year, the number has decreased to 2,811. Out of the total number of students, 164 will take the technical exam.
Preparations for the exam:
Bir Bahadur Gurung, the Head of Education Development and Coordination Unit Lamjung, stated that all the center presidents have been trained and provided with the necessary materials to conduct the exam efficiently. Additionally, 17 examination centers have been designated across the district for the SEE exam.
Distribution of examinees:
According to Gurung, the distribution of examinees across the examination centers is adjusted based on the capacity of each center. Sarvodaya Secondary School Duradanda has the least number of participants with only 68 examinees, while Jan Vikas Secondary School located in the headquarters has the most participants with 304 examinees.
Arrangement of schools:
Gurung further stated that the examinees from at least three schools and at most eight schools would take the test in one examination center. This arrangement will ensure that the examination process runs smoothly, and all students have equal opportunities to perform their best.
