100 Days Minimum Employment Opportunity from Prime Minister's Employment Program (PMEP)
The collection of applications for joining the minimum employment has started under the Prime Minister's Employment Program. Unemployed citizens between the ages of 18 and 59 who have low income or are not even self-employed can apply to the concerned ward office at the local level by end of Falgun 2077 BS.
Listed unemployed will get a minimum of 100 days of employment under the Prime Minister's Employment Program. The Prime Minister's Employment Program has been implemented by the government with the objective of providing minimum employment and bringing the deprived and at-risk groups under the ambit of social security. The Ministry of Labor, Employment, and Social Security, through the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, has issued a circular to all local levels for the registration of unemployed persons for the coming fiscal year 2078/07.
The Ministry of Labor has requested to make arrangements to run a real target group-centric program by collecting the real and complete details of the unemployed persons and their families.
The Ministry has stated that the minimum employment under this program will provide social security and protection to the poor and the people at risk of their livelihood.
