10 Arrested in Examination Paper Leak of Purbanchal University

Police have arrested 10 people on the charge of involvement in the incident where the question paper of Purbanchal University was made public before the examination.

On the 3rd of Baishakh, the question paper of BE second semester physics subject of the engineering faculty of the university was made public even before the examination.

Komal Prasad Gautam, Gopal Karki, Vijay Pokhrel, Min Prasad Bhatt, Bharat Pathan, Vikas Khadka, Nirmal Khadka, Nanipath Mandal, Jeevan Kumar Yadav, and Mahesh Yadav are accused of being involved in the incident.

The arrested Komal Prasad is an office assistant working in the photocopy depart of Purbanchal University. Others are students.

According to Morang Police Spokesperson DSP Manjil Mukharung, the photocopying staff of Purbanchal University has made public the question papers using social media. DSP Mukharung informed that they are investigating the case as per the Education Act 2028 BS.
