Overview
Sunapati Rural Municipality (सुनापति गाउँपालिका, रामेछाप) belongs to the Ramechhap district. This Rural Municipality was established on the 27th of Falgun, 2073 BS. It is bounded on the east by Khandadebi Rural Municipality, on the west by Chaurikhola, on the north by Doramba Rural Municipality and on the south by Sunkoshi River. This Rural Municipality is made up of five former VDCs (Gunsi, Dimipokhari, Hiledebi, Bethan, and Khaniyapani). The area of this Rural Municipality is about 86.98 sq. Km. The total population of this Rural Municipality is 18141.
