NMB Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NMBMF) (Nepali: एनएमबि लघुवित्त वित्तिय संस्था लिमिटेड) was established in 2069 B.S. (2012 AD) as a is a a subsidiary company of NMB Bank Limited. It is a national level “D” class financial institution licensed under the Nepal Rastra Bank as per Bank and Financial Institutions Act 2003. NMBMF established with the core mission of inclusive banking. It has currently 95 branch offices & 5 sub-branch offices on operation covering 54 districts including Banke, Bardiya, Bhojpur, Baitadai, Bajang, Bara, Lamjung, Manang, Mustang, Myagdi, Mahottari,Morang, Nawalparashi, Nuwakot, Okhaldhunga, Dhanusha, Gorkha, Ilam, Jumla, Kailali, Kanchanpur, Kapilbastu, Kaski, Khotang, Panchthar, Parbat, Parsa, Ramechhap, Rasuwa, Rukum, Rupendehi, Rautahat, Sankhuwasabha, Sindhupalchowk, Solukhumbu, Surkhet, Syangja, Sunsari, Sindhuli, Siraha, Palpa, Chitwan, Dang, Dhading, Dhankuta, Dolakha, Darchula, Dailekh, Sarlahi, Saptari, Tanahun, Taplejung, Terhathum and Udayapur.
Currently, NMB Laghubitta is providing microfinance services to more than 94,450 deprived households of Hilly and Mountainous regions of Nepal with prime focus on low-income households, assets-less, self-employed in the informal sector to uplift their livelihood increasing involvement in economic activities and income-generating activities. Besides all these financial services; NMB Laghubitta also focuses on their social development, cultural promotion, educational development, skill development & many more by its fully operated 95 branch offices & 5 sub-branch offices with well-trained human resources (HR).
