Overview
NIC ASIA Bank Limited was incorporated in 1998 AD as NIC Bank and renamed NIC ASIA Bank in 2013 after it merged with Bank of Asia Nepal. After the merger in 2013, NIC ASIA was recognized as”Bank of the Year 2013-Nepal” by The Banker, Financial Times, UK. It is the 2nd time that the Bank was recognized with this prominent award, the previous occasion being in the year of 2007.
NIC ASIA Bank is one of the largest private sector commercial banks in Nepal in terms of capital base, balance sheet size, number of branches, ATM network and customer base. It has 268 branches, 18 branchless banking, 37 extension counters, and 280 ATMs across the county with a network covering all main financial centers of Nepal.
