Overview
Malika Rural Municipality (मालिका गाउँपालिका) was established in 2017 (2073 BS) as a Local level government of Nepal. The office of the Malika Gaunpalika is located in Darbang, Myagdi district, Gandaki Province of Nepal. Malika Rural Municipality divided into seven wards. This rural municipality provides local level public services and develops infrastructures. It has extraordinary power to govern its local area.
Malika Rural Municipality formed by then six VDCs included such as Darbang, Rum, Niskot, Okharbot, Bim and Devisthan. The total area of this rural municipality is 147 square kilometers and the total population is 19,458.
