LIC Nepal Limited (Life Insurance Corporation Nepal Limited) was established in 2001 as a Life Insurance Company in Nepal. LIC Nepal was incorporated jointly with LIC India (55% ownership of the company is held), Vishal Group (25% ownership) and the general public (20% ownership).
Over the years, LIC Nepal has achieved many momentous milestones and glory from different entities. But the proud feather in the crown of the company will be, being awarded as the highest tax-paying company in the insurance domain by the Government of Nepal (GoN) for years together.
