Overview
Global IME Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GILBSL) is a subsidiary of Global IME Bank Limited and it started its operation on 19 May 2013 (Jestha 5, 2070 B.S.). The Head office is located in Narayan Chowk, Besisahar, Lamjung district of Nepal. Global IME Laghubitta was incorporated under the Company Act 2063 in 2069 B.S. and licensed as a “D” class financial institution from Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) on 1 Jestha 2070 BS. Global IME microfinance is dedicated to offering a wide range of microfinance services to the people who do not have access to mainstream financial services. Currently, it is offering its services through 46 branches spread across 30 districts of Nepal.
It is providing perfect financial products and services including deposit products, loan products, insurance products, and money transfer services, to suit the needs of a specific range of economically and socially marginalized people and households living in the countryside of Nepal. All the way through its microfinance interventions, it contributes in providing access to capital for materializing viable business ideas, promoting self-employment/self-sufficiency and uplifting the economic status, entrepreneurship, and improving the living standards of people living in rural areas of Nepal.
