Overview
Gajuri Rural Municipality (Gajuri Gaupalika) was established in 2017 as a local Government of Nepal. The headquarters of this rural municipality is located in Gajuri, Dhading district of Nepal.
It was formed by merging three VDCs namely Pida, Gajuri, Nepal, Kiranchok. It has a literacy rate of 64.28% (70.30% male and 58.41% female. The total population is 10,035 including 4,968 Male & 5,067 Female, according to the National Census 2011 AD. It has been being one of the most populated city in the district. According to the report, out of 2223 houses, around 1,884 had at least one facility like Radio, Television, Internet, etc.
Gajuri Gaunpalika lies at the North-Western part of Dhading District to the south of Trishuli River and covers an area of 138.66 km2. The average altitude of Gajuri Gaupalika is 547 meters (1796 ft) above sea level.
