Overview
Chandannath Municipality (चन्दननाथ नगरपालिका) was established on 18 May 2014 (2071 BS) as an urban Municipality of Nepal. The headquarters of the Chandannath Nagarpalika is located in Ward No 3, Jumla district, Karnali Province of Nepal. The municipality is known as Nagarpalika in the Nepali Language. Mahat Gaun, Talium, Kartik Swami (Jumla), and Chandannath existing Village development committees (VDCs) were merging to form Chandannath Nagarpalika.
Chandannath Municipality is surrounded by Guthichaur Rural Municipality on the East, Tatopani Rural Municipality on the West, Patarasi Rural Municipality and Kankasundari Rural Municipality on the North, and Jajarkot District on the South.
The total population of this municipality according to 2011 (2068 BS) Nepal census is 20,884 individual living in 4271 individual households. This municipality is divided into 10 wards.
