Overview
Chamunda Bindrasaini Municipality (चामुण्डा बिन्द्रासैनी) was established in 2017 (2073 BS) as a local government of Nepal. The office of the Chamunda Bindrasaini Nagarpalika is located in Jambukandh, Dailekh district, Karnali Province of Nepal. A municipality is known as Nagarpalika in the Nepali Language.
Chamunda Bindrasaini Nagarpalika is surrounded by Bhairabi Rural Municipality and Dullu Municipality on the East, Aathabis Municipality on the West, Thantikandh Rural Municipality on the North and Dullu Municipality and Achham District on the South.
The total area of the Chamunda Bindrasaini Municipality is 90.60 square kilometers (34.98 sq mi) and the total population of the rural municipality according to 2011 (2068 BS) Nepal census is 26,149 individuals. The density of this municipality is 290/km2 (750/sq mi). This municipality is divided into 9 wards.
Lyati Bindraseni, Chamunda and Jambukandh Village development committees (VDCs) were included while established this municipality. This municipality came into existence on 10th March 2017 (Falgun 27, 2073 BS), fulfilling the requirement of the new Constitution of Nepal 2015 (2072 BS), Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration (MoFAGA) replaced all old VDCs and Municipalities into 753 new local level bodies.
