Overview
Chame Rural Municipality (चामे गाउँपालिका) was established in 2017 as a local government of Nepal. The office of the Chame Rural Municipality (Chame Gaunpalike) is located in Chame, Manang district, Gandaki Province of Nepal. In the year 2073, Federal Affairs and Local Development Ministry implemented 744 local level; while the Chame VDC of the village was formed in Chaman village in Manang district. Area of Chame Gaunpalika is 78.86 square kilometers. This village has been divided into five wards. The total population of this village is 1,129 according to 2011 (2068 BS) Census. The border of this village is in the northeast village of Neshyang Rural Municipality, West Neshyang Rural Municipality and Kaski district, Narphu Rural Municipality in north and Kaski and Lamjung district in the south.
