Bhimphedi Rural Municipality (भीमफेदी गाउँपालिका) Spread over an area of 245.27 sq. Km. Makwanpur is located in the central part of the district. The center of Bhimphedi Rural Municipality is Bhimphedi of the former VDC. This level is located in 5 former VDCs of Makwanpur district.
The former VDC under this Gaupalika. Among them are buffalo, Nibuwatar, Bhimphedi, Kogate, Epapanchakanya, Namtar (1,2,3). The highest habitat of Tamang, Magar, and Chhetri castes can be found in this area. There are 9 wards in this Gaupalika.
Bhimphedi Gaupalika is bounded on the east by Lalitpur district, on the west by Kailash Gaupalika and Hetauda sub-metropolis, on the north by Thaha municipality and Indrasarovar Gaupalika and on the south by Hetauda sub-metropolis, Makwanpurgadhi, and Bakaya Gaupalika.
According to the 2068 census, Gaupalika has a literacy rate of 68.8 percent. Male literacy is 75.4 percent and female literacy is 58.3 percent.
