Tribhuvan University (TU), Institute of Engineering (IOE), Alternative Examination 2078: Guide for Examinees: The IOE, Examination Control Division has prepared the BE / B.Arch to be conducted in the month of Bhadra / Ashwin 2078 BS so that all the first part examinations can be conducted in both physical and alternative methods.
Candidates have to pay attention to the following points in the examination conducted by Alternative Method only in case the Government of Nepal has banned the examination in physical presence:
1) Alternative examination will be conducted through MS Team through Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) method.
2) For Integer 50, 40 MCQs of 2 digit weight will be asked in each subject and for Integer 40, 20 MCQs of 2 digit weight will be asked.
3) log in to MS Team will open 15 minutes before the start of the exam. Login will not be available 30 minutes after the start of the exam. If such is found, the examination of the concerned candidate will remain.
4) Candidates have to turn on the video camera so that the whole face can be seen and the voice can be heard during the examination period. Alternative backup of electricity and internet (such as Laptop / Mobile Charge, Data Pack) should be done by the candidates themselves.
5) If the examinee logs out for any reason while the exam is running, he will have to login again within 5 minutes, if he is offline for more than 5 minutes, the exam will be canceled automatically.
6) Exam time will be 90 minutes of 80 integers and 50 minutes of 40 integers. You have to submit the answers to the questions asked within the stipulated time. If not submitted within time, the examinee will be responsible for herself/himself.
7) In the alternative exam, questions and alternative answers will be reshuffled on the screen of each examinee.
8) Supervisors and inspectors will be monitoring the optional exam online and the examinees will have to follow the instructions of the supervisors and inspectors.
