
Special EPS-TOPIK 2025 Notice for Korean Language Test
Government of Nepal, Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Department of Foreign Employment, EPS Korea Section, Gwarko, Lalitpur Urgent Notice Regarding the Operation of Special Korean Language Test (Special EPS-TOPIK 2025, CBT).
As per the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Government of Nepal and the Government of the Republic of Korea under the Employment Permit System (EPS), this notice is published to inform all concerned about the online application process for those Nepali citizens whose names are listed in the name list received from Human Resource Development Service of Korea (HRD) on 2061/11/15 and who wish to participate in the Special EPS-TOPIK, CBT (Computer Based Test) for the selection of candidates for re-employment in South Korea.
1. Applicant Eligibility:
(a) Nepali citizen.
(b) Returned to Nepal legally within the Sojourn Period after working in South Korea under EPS, post January 1, 2010.
(c) The age must be between 18 and 39 years — born between March 31, 1985, and March 30, 2007 (i.e., 2041 Chaitra 18 to 2063 Chaitra 16).
(d) No criminal conviction by the court.
(e) Must not have stayed illegally in the Republic of Korea.
(f) Must not be restricted from traveling abroad from Nepal.
(g) Must not have color blindness or physical disabilities (e.g., slipped disc or finger amputation).
(h) Must not have stayed in Korea on E-9 or E-10 visas for more than 5 years. Even those who returned before the amendment of Korean Immigration Law (November 2017) are included in the name list. Still, if they stayed for more than 5 years, they must not register the form — otherwise, the individual will be responsible.
(i) Only those whose names are included in the list provided by HRD Korea for participation in the Special EPS-TOPIK exam are eligible to apply. Please verify your name on the website before filling out the form.
2. Exam Schedule:
- Form Distribution and Registration: March 30 – April 01, 2025 (2081 Chaitra 17 to 19)
- Exam Schedule Announcement: May 26, 2025 (2082 Jestha 12)
- Exam Dates: June 01–03, 2025 (2082 Jestha 18 to 20)
- Result Publication: June 13, 2025 (2082 Jestha 30)
Note: The schedule is subject to change under special circumstances.
3. Application Registration Process:
- Application Dates: March 30 – April 01, 2025 (2081 Chaitra 17 to 19)
- Application Method: Must fill out the form online at https://eoers.epsnepal.gov.np. After submission, download and print the admit card and keep it safe. A demo of the application process is available on the homepage.
Required Documents for Application:
- Color scanned copy of passport bio-page (JPG format, width 600 pixels, file size < 100KB).
- No other documents except the passport photocopy will be accepted.
- Valid email address and mobile number must be provided.
- Recent (within 3 months) color photo showing both ears, upper chest, white background, no white clothes (Photo width: 100–300 pixels, JPEG format, size < 15KB).
- Mention the passport number used while staying in Korea. If a new passport is issued, mention both old and new passport numbers.
- Applicants will only be eligible for the CBT Special EPS-TOPIK test after paying the exam fee and getting registration approval.
4. Employment Sector: Manufacturing and Agriculture & Livestock
Note: Applicants selecting Manufacturing must answer 8 questions related to one of the 8 sub-categories listed in the form. Sub-category cannot be changed after registration.
5. Exam Fee:
- USD 28. The Nepali Rupee equivalent will be calculated based on the exchange rate Nepal Rastra Bank determines one day before the form is submitted. Payment must be made through authorized online payment service providers only.

The EPS-TOPIK will be evaluated based on objective multiple-choice questions.
7. Exam Day Preparation:
(a) Candidates must bring their admit card and be present at the exam venue 2 hours before the scheduled time.
(b) Must carry admit card and passport. Entry will not be allowed without these.
(c) No alternate arrangements for absent candidates.
8. Additional Information:
(a) Mobile phones, cassette players, PDA, MP3, smartwatches, or any electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall. Violation will result in disqualification.
(b) Anyone caught cheating will be barred from EPS-TOPIK exams for 4 years. Past impersonators have been prosecuted; refrain from such illegal actions.
(c) If personal details in the application form (e.g., name, date of birth) do not match the passport, even if you pass, your name will not be listed in the roster and you will not get a job in Korea.
(d) Further changes or information, if needed, will be published in future notices.

"Passing the Korean language test makes you eligible for job application under EPS and to be listed in the employment roster, but does not guarantee employment in Korea."
