Special EPS-TOPIK 2024, CBT Examination Form Open for Returnee from Korea
Government of Nepal, Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Department of Foreign Employment, EPS Korea Section, Gwarko, Lalitpur Important Notice Regarding the Special EPS-TOPIK 2024, CBT Examination.
This notice is published to inform all concerned individuals that in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Government of Nepal and the Republic of Korea, under the Employment Permit System (EPS), interested eligible Nepali citizens listed in the name list received from HRD Service of Korea, who wish to participate in the Special EPS-TOPIK, CBT examination, conducted by the Human Resource Development Service of Korea (HRD), must fill out the online application form with the following details:
1. Applicant's Qualifications:
a) Nepali citizen,
b) Workers who have legally returned to Nepal within the visa period (Sojourn Period) after obtaining employment in the Republic of Korea under EPS since January 1, 2010,
c) Age between 18 and 39 years, i.e., born between July 22, 1984, and July 21, 2006 (2041 Shrawan 07 to 2063 Shrawan 05),
d) Not convicted by a court of law for a criminal offense,
e) Not residing illegally in the Republic of Korea,
f) Not restricted from going to other countries from Nepal,
g) Not colorblind,
h) Not stayed in Korea for more than five years on E-9 and E-10 visas,
i) Only those listed in the name list provided by HRD Korea and eligible to participate in the Special EPS-TOPIK exam can fill out the application form, so please check the name list on this office's website before filling out the application form.
2) Examination Schedule:
Form Distribution and Registration Dates: July 22-26, 2024 (2081 Shrawan 07 to 11)
Examination Schedule Announcement Date: September 13, 2024 (2081 Bhadra 28)
Examination Dates: September 24 - 27, 2024 (2081 Ashoj 08 to 11)
Result Publication: October 07, 2024 (2081 Ashoj 21)
The examination schedule is subject to change in special circumstances.
3. Application Registration Process:
a) Application Registration Dates: From 2081 Shrawan 07 to 11 (July 22-26, 2024).
b) Application Registration Process: The exam application form must be filled out online at https://eoers.epsnepal.gov.np. After filling out the form, please download and print the admit card and keep it safely. A demo on how to register for the application can be seen on the first page of https://eoers.epsnepal.gov.np.
c) Required Documents for Application Registration:
- When filling out the application form, applicants must upload a color-scanned JPG image file (Width 600 pixels, Up to 100KB) of the passport bio page (photo page). Photocopies of documents other than the MRP passport will not be accepted.
- Applicants must mandatorily provide their own email address and mobile number while filling out the application form.
- Applicants must upload a scanned color photo (Photo Width 100 ~ 300 pixels, File Type: JPEG only, Up to 15KB size) with a white background, taken within the last 3 months, showing both ears, upper chest visible, and not wearing white clothes.
- Applicants must also mention the passport number used while staying in Korea. If the passport has expired and a new passport has been issued, both passport numbers must be mentioned.
- Applicants can only participate in the Special EPS-TOPIK, CBT exam after paying the exam fee and getting the application form approved.
4 Employment Sectors:
Manufacturing and Agriculture and Livestock
Note: Those who want to fill out the form for the manufacturing sector must solve 8 questions related to the subcategory they choose from the 8 subcategories mentioned in the form.
5. Examination Fee:
The examination fee is US $28. Applicants can only pay the examination fee in Nepali rupees through the designated online payment service providers based on the exchange rate set by Nepal Rastra Bank the day before the application registration date.

EPS-TOPIK will be based on multiple-choice questions.
7. Preparation for the Exam Day:
a) Each applicant must bring their admit card and be present at the designated date, time, and place for the exam at least 2 hours before the exam starts.
b) Applicants must bring the admit card and passport with them after filling out the application form; otherwise, they will not be allowed to take the exam.
c) Applicants who cannot be present at the designated date, time, and place will not be allowed to participate in any other exam.
8. Additional Information:
a) It is strictly prohibited to bring electronic devices such as mobile phones, cassette players, PDAs, MP3 players, Smart Watches, etc., inside the exam hall and room. If such items are found, the concerned applicant's exam will be considered invalid.
b) Applicants found cheating in the language exam will not be allowed to participate in the EPS-TOPIK exam for 4 years. In the past, individuals attempting to take the exam under another person's name were arrested and prosecuted for public offenses, so be warned against such misconduct.
c) If there is a discrepancy between the personal details (such as name, date of birth) provided in the application form and those in the applicant's passport, even if the applicant passes the language exam, their name will not be included in the roster, and they will not be eligible for employment in South Korea.
d) Further information related to this will be provided through notifications if necessary.

f) If your name is not on the published list but you believe you are eligible, please scan and send a single PDF file of your passport, Foreigner Registration Card (Alien Card) front and back, and the arrival stamp provided by Nepal Immigration on your passport to [email protected] between 2081/03/25 to 2081/03/30.
g) For Seasonal and COVID-19 periods, also send the document or sticker provided by Immigration for the extension of the stay period.
Note:
“Passing the Korean language exam qualifies you to apply for employment in Korea under the Employment Permit System and be listed in the roster for employment processes, but it does not guarantee 100% employment in Korea.” |
