Proposal of the Ministry of Education to conduct SEE examination through internal assessment: The Ministry of Education has decided to take the proposal to conduct the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) according to the internal assessment method of the Council of Ministers.

A meeting of the ministry held on Monday decided to send a proposal to the Council of Ministers to conduct the SEE examination according to the internal evaluation method, said Ishwar Raj Dhakal, Press Coordinator to the Minister of Education.

"The meeting of the ministry has decided to send a proposal to the Council of Ministers to bring it in line with last year's method of internal evaluation," he said.

Last year, a three-member evaluation committee comprising school principals, class teachers, and experienced teachers was formed to evaluate 10 percent of the first quarter, 30 percent of the second quarter, and 60 percent of all subjects by the end of the academic session.

In order to prepare the assessment details, the National Examination Board had issued the SEE Class 10 Evaluation, Result Publication and Verification Procedure, 2077 BS. Accordingly, after the assessment committee submitted the student's score to the Education Development and Coordination Unit as prescribed by the National Examination Board (NEB), the concerned Education Development and Coordination Units had sent the details to the National Examination Board.

Based on the marks of the students submitted by the committee, the board had prepared the examination results and issued the certificate.
