PCL Nursing, BSc Nursing, BMS Licensing Exam Notice from Nepal Nursing Council
Notice Regarding Name Registration Certificate Examination by Nepal Nursing Council: As per the annual work schedule published by the Nepal Nursing Council, the name registration certificate examination for the year 2081 is scheduled for Ashar 15 and 18, 2081. This notice is published for the information of all concerned. Candidates for the name registration examination must have passed the Proficiency Certificate Level in Nursing (PCL Nursing) or B.Sc. Nursing. Candidates for the Midwifery name registration examination must have passed the Bachelor in Midwifery Science (BMS). Candidates for the Specialist Nurse name registration examination must have passed a postgraduate degree in Nursing.
Important Dates:
- Online Form Submission: From 2081/02/08 to 2081/03/05
- Online Late Fee Submission: From 2081/03/06 to 2081/03/09 (up to 5:00 PM)
- Examination Date (Proficiency Certificate Level Nursing and B.Sc. Nursing): Ashar 15, 2081 (Saturday)
- Examination Date (Midwifery and Specialist Nurse): Ashar 18, 2081 (Tuesday)
How to Apply:
- Complete the online form by visiting application.nnc.org.np and following the provided instructions. Applications submitted through any other medium will not be accepted.
- Examination fees must be paid via the Online Payment gateway, Khalti.
Examination Fees:
- Proficiency Certificate Level and B.Sc. Nursing: NPR 3,100 (Normal Fee), NPR 6,100 (Late Fee)
- Midwifery: NPR 4,100 (Normal Fee), NPR 8,100 (Late Fee)
- Specialist Nurse: NPR 5,100 (Normal Fee), NPR 10,100 (Late Fee)
Examination Format:
- Proficiency Certificate Level and B.Sc. Nursing: 150 full mark questions, passing score 50%.
- Midwifery: 150 questions, passing score 50% for the computer-based exam. There will also be a 50 full mark practical exam with an 80% passing score.
- Specialist Nurse: 150 questions, passing score 60%.
Candidates failing any part of the Midwifery name registration exam must reapply for the respective part.
Additional Information:
- Necessary educational qualification certificates must be issued and published by 2081/03/05.
- Separate question papers will be conducted according to the level and program, so candidates must fill out the online form clearly and accurately. Otherwise, the council will not be responsible and the submitted fee will not be refunded.
- Exam-related details, including exam center and start time, will be mentioned on the admit card.
- The Nursing Council Examination Committee may conduct interviews if necessary.
Candidates who studied abroad since October 1, 2020, must upload the Medical Education Commission's eligibility letter.
