MSc 2nd and 4th Semester Form Fill Up Notice: Tribhuvan University

Tribhuvan University, Institute of Science & Technology, Dean’s Office, Examination Section, Balkhu Notice Regarding Examination Application Forms for Master’s Level (Second Year, Fourth Semester – 2079 Group) Under the Semester System (Grading System).

Under the Semester System (Grading System), the Dean’s Office, Examination Section, Institute of Science & Technology, Tribhuvan University, Balkhu, informs all concerned that the examination application forms for regular as well as partial exams (from the same semester and earlier groups) of the Second Year, Fourth Semester (2079 group) in the following subjects must be submitted by Magh 27, 2081:

• Geology

• Engineering Geology

• Computer Science and Information Technology

• Botany

• Mathematics

• Microbiology

• Zoology

• Chemistry

• Statistics

• Environmental Science

• Biotechnology

• Food Technology

• Hydrology and Meteorology

• Environmental Health in Disaster (EHD)

• Biodiversity and Environmental Management (BEM)

• Master of Science in Mountain and Mountaineering Science (M.Sc. MMS)

The concerned Central Departments / Campuses / Colleges must review these forms and compulsorily submit them to this office by Magh 29, 2081.

1. Points to Note When Submitting Examination Forms

1. Attendance

   • The examinees' attendance must be recorded on the exam form per TU regulations.

2. Internal Assessment Marks

   • Internal assessment marks must be entered on the exam application form, and a separate list should also be sent.

   • Do not allow students who have failed the internal assessment to fill out the exam form for that subject. If they fill out the form and appear for the exam, that subject exam will be canceled automatically.

3. Subjectwise Data

   • The examinees' subjectwise data (Subjectwise marks/records) must be submitted along with the exam application forms.

4. Partial Examinees

   • A photocopy of the mark sheet must be attached to the exam application form of each partial examinee.

2. Examination Fees

• Regular and Partial (per semester)

  • General Subjects: NPR 1,500

  • Engineering Geology: NPR 2,000

  • Environmental Health in Disaster (EHD) / MMS: NPR 2,500

3. Late Fees

For forms submitted within the first week after the regular deadline:

• General Subjects: NPR 1,500

• Engineering Geology: NPR 2,000

• Environmental Health in Disaster (EHD) / MMS: NPR 2,500

4. Payment of Examination Fees

The concerned Central Departments / Campuses / Colleges should collect the specified exam fees and deposit the total amount into the current account no. 045001000991070000001 of the Institute of Science & Technology, Dean’s Office, at Nepal Bank, Kirtipur, and then forward the deposit slip/proof of payment.

Additional Notes

• As per TU’s decision, the provision for changing the exam center has been removed.

• No subject changes are allowed after a student has chosen subjects and submitted the exam form. Therefore, make sure students confirm their subject choices before submitting the form.

• Each examinee must complete and submit the exam form in person and sign both the form and the admit card. The Institute is not responsible for any issues arising from non-compliance.

• Students must submit the exam form within the stipulated timeframe defined by the curriculum. If a student whose allowed period has expired submits an exam form and appears for the exam, that exam will be automatically canceled. The student, campus, or college will be fully responsible in such a situation.
