Section Officer Exam Centers Dhankuta Launched in Dhankuta by the Public Service Commission (Lok Sewa Aayog)

The Central Public Service Commission (PSC) has officially unveiled its first set of examination centers in Dhankuta. These centers are specifically designed to accommodate aspirants for the Section Officer role, Gazetted Third Class (Non-Technical), and similar positions as per Advertisement No. 16699-16705/079-80 (Open/Inclusive).

Guidelines for Public Service Exam Candidates

The PSC has put forth several instructions for candidates aiming for public service roles to guarantee a smooth examination process:

  • Examination Schedule: Candidates must stick to the previously published schedule, even in the event of unexpected holidays.
  • Admit Card: No one will be allowed into the exam hall without an admit card.
  • Arrival Time: Candidates are advised to be at the examination center at least an hour before the test begins.
  • Prohibited Items: The use of personal devices like mobile phones and calculators is strictly prohibited. Only a black ink pen is permitted, while lead pens are not.
  • Required Documents: Candidates must present their Nepali citizenship certificate or any valid government-issued photo ID.

Safety Measures Amidst Transition Phase

In this transition phase, additional precautions have been put in place:

  • Face Masks: Wearing a face mask is mandatory for candidates to gain entry to the examination center. They must also bring personal sanitizers and drinking water.
  • Social Distancing: A minimum physical distance of two meters must be maintained at all times.
  • Staff Compliance: Candidates must follow all instructions given by the examination personnel.

Separate Provisions for Covid-19 Positive Candidates

For candidates who have tested positive for Covid-19, the PSC has arranged separate examination centers. These candidates are asked to:

  • Application for Assistant Writers: As per Rule 68 (1) of the Public Service Commission, 2079, candidates in need of assistant writers should submit an application to the office at least 10 days before the exam start date. The application must contain valid reasons and evidence supporting their request.
