Public Service Commission Kathmandu Announces Examination Center for Section Officer
The Public Service Commission (PSC - Lok Sewa Aayog) has made a public announcement about the examination center for the post of Section Officer, or Sakha Adhikrit, in Nepal's Judicial Service. This announcement concerns the establishment of the examination building for the written examination for the Gazetted Third Class (Non-Technical) post.
Admission to the Examination
Candidates whose applications have been accepted are to report to their respective examination buildings, adhering strictly to health safety standards set by the Government of Nepal and the special infection standards approved by the Public Service Commission. Please note, no candidate will be admitted into the examination buildings other than the designated ones.
Examination Timing
Candidates are expected to arrive at least one hour before the commencement of the examination in the designated examination hall. The examination schedule is as follows:
- First Paper: Governance System, scheduled on 2080/04/22 at 2:00 p.m. Duration: 3 hours
- Second Paper: Current Affairs, scheduled on 2080/04/23 at 2:00 p.m. Duration: 3 hours
- Third Paper: Contemporary Law and Practice, scheduled on 2080/04/24 at 2:00 p.m. Duration: 3 hours

Candidates' roll numbers correlate to their respective examination centers:
- Roll numbers 31001 to 310200: Pasang Lhamu Sherpa Memorial College (+ 2 Block), Samakhusi
- Roll numbers 310201 to 310400: Pasang Lhamu Sherpa Memorial College (Bachelor Block), Samakhusi
- Roll numbers 310401 to 310600: Lincoln College (A), Samakhushi
- Roll numbers 310601 to 310800: Lincoln College (B), Samakhushi
- Roll numbers 310801 to 311000: Ashirwad College, Samakhushi
- Roll numbers 311001 to 311200: Sagarmatha Multiple College, Dillibazar
- Roll numbers from 311201 to 311393 and all the rest: Public Service Commission, Anamnagar
Key Guidelines to Follow
- Examinations will not be postponed for unexpected holidays without prior notice from the Commission.
- Only black ink is permitted in the exam.
- Candidates who have changed their examination center to Kathmandu will not be allowed to sit for the exam.
- Bags, mobile phones, and other electronic devices are prohibited in the examination hall.
- Candidates must carry their admit card and arrive at the examination hall at least 1 hour before the examination.
- Along with the admit card, candidates must bring their citizenship or any identity card with a photo issued by the Government of Nepal.
COVID-19 Safety Guidelines
In light of the ongoing pandemic, additional measures are in place to ensure candidates' safety:
- Candidates must make necessary arrangements for masks, sanitizer, and drinking water.
- All instructions provided by the exam center staff must be followed.
- Candidates should enter and exit the examination center without crowding, maintaining social distancing.
- Grouping and chatting is strictly prohibited.
