About Young Scientist Summit:

The Young Scientists Summit (YSS) is an annual initiative of the Nepal Polymer Institute (NPI) with the primary objective of empowering and connecting young scientists towards new discoveries, inventions, and discourse. The inaugural YSS event took place in 2016 in Kathmandu under the motto "Our Young Scientists: Our Strength: Our Hope".

Over the years, the YSS has served as a platform to promote the involvement of high school and university-level students, as well as other young researchers, in science, technology, and innovation activities through research ideas and projects. The motto of YSS is "Youth's Participation for Prosperity of the Nation through Science, Technology, and Innovation," reflecting its goal of identifying and recognizing the genius minds of Nepal and promoting their aspirations in the prosperity of the country.

The YSS encourages participation in its annual conference, where young scientists from various fields present their ideas and research findings. The event provides a forum for showcasing scientific knowledge, engaging in discussions, and establishing connections with other young scientists. The YSS supports the development of young researchers and inventors, fostering an atmosphere of creativity and innovation.

Through the YSS, the NPI hopes to inspire the next generation of scientists and inventors in Nepal, empowering them to make significant contributions to science and technology. By connecting with other young scientists and researchers, participants at the YSS are exposed to new ideas and approaches, providing them with opportunities to expand their horizons and hone their skills.

In summary, the Young Scientists Summit (YSS) is an annual initiative that aims to empower and connect young scientists in Nepal. With its motto of "Youth's Participation for Prosperity of the Nation through Science, Technology, and Innovation," the YSS provides a platform for showcasing scientific knowledge, engaging in discussions, and establishing connections with other young scientists. The YSS is a vital component in inspiring the next generation of Nepalese scientists and inventors, supporting their efforts to make significant contributions to science and technology in the future.
