Women's National Football League from Today:
All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) is starting the Women's National Football League from today. In the first match of today's competition, Tribhuvan Army Football Club and Nepal Police Club are facing each other. Today's opening game will start at 2 pm.
The inaugural and final match of the tournament will be played at Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor while the rest of the match will be played at ANFA Complex in Satdobato.
The participating teams are Biratnagar Metropolitan City, Chandrapur Municipality Rautahat, Waling Municipality Syangja, Chaudandagadhi Municipality Udayapur, Nepal APF Club, Tribhuvan Army Club, and Nepal Police Club.
According to ANFA, the first to third place winners will be awarded Rs 1.5 million, Rs 800,000, and Rs 500,000 respectively. Similarly, the best striker, midfield, defense, goalkeeper, and coach will be given Rs 50,000. Similarly, the best player in the league will get a scooter.
Each team will have 30 players including 23 players and seven officials. The team will also be able to bring in four foreign players for the tournament. The competition will last for a month. The seven teams will receive Rs 100,000 from ANFA for preparation and Rs 50,000 from Covid Relief Fund.
Earlier, the competition, which was scheduled to start on Chaitra 3 last year, was postponed due to the epidemic.
