Wisdom Academy, located in Kalanki, Kathmandu Metropolitan City, has organized the 'Science, Art & Craft Exhibition - 2081'. The exhibition, organized on the school premises on Saturday, 25th January 2025, featured creative materials prepared by students from basic to class 10.
Many parents, social figures, and locals attended the exhibition, which showcased various types of arts and crafts, paintings, project work portfolios, educational materials, and documentaries made by the students. In addition, projects based on multiple science subjects, including robots, drones, telescopes, hydraulic dozers, solar systems, light reflection, AI-based technology, environmental protection, and the development of energy sources, were prepared using local materials.
The projects in the exhibition were observed by the Chairman of the School Management Committee, the school principal, teachers, and parents. The students also explained the projects they had put up in the exhibition.
Principal Shiva Prasad Adhikari said the science and mathematics exhibition was organized to give students practical experience with the theoretical knowledge they have learned in the classroom. The exhibition also proved that students can make new inventions with the materials they have created.
Through the science, art, and craft exhibition, parents observe other creative activities that their children do in school along with their studies and are happy to see their children's creations.
Purushottam Adhikari, chairman of the school management committee, said that since such exhibitions allow students to identify their inherent abilities, parents are also invited to observe them in detail. He also expressed his belief that the science, art, and craft exhibition would be a suitable medium for students to be exposed to.
The exhibition aims to awaken children's inherent creativity by directly interacting with new teaching and learning technologies and to produce the necessary manpower for the nation in the future. Parents were significantly involved in the exhibition. They were amazed to see the various educational materials their children had made.
