Notice of Free Vocational and Skill Development Training by Gandaki Province Government
The Ministry of Social Development and Health in the Gandaki Province Government has announced free professional and skill development training. The training will be conducted by the Vocational and Skills Development Training Center (VSDTC) in Kusma, Parbat.
Training Courses and Duration:
The following courses will be offered, and the duration for each course is mentioned:
- Advance Hair Dressing / Beautician Training - 45 Days
- Electric Wiring Training - 45 Days
- Advance Swing (Silai Katai) Training
- Sanitary Pad and Shopping Bag Making Training - 15 Days
- Montessori Training - 45 Days
- Basic Hair Dressing / Beautician Training - 45 Days
- Plumbing Training - 45 Days
Interested candidates can submit their application within 15 days (2079/12/13) from the publication date. The scheme is open to all, and priority will be given to those who are economically and socially disadvantaged, single women, Dalits, conflict victims, returnees from foreign employment, those affected by Covid, and those involved in related professions.
Application Procedure:
The application form must be accompanied by the following documents:
- Photocopy of Nepali citizenship certificate
- Photocopy of educational qualification certificate
- 1 copy of passport-size photograph
- Copy of certificate of basic training for advanced training
If more applications are received than the specified number, the trainees will be selected through interviews. The date and place of the interview will be published later.
Before taking the training, the profession, business, or business related to the same training should be conducted. Lunch allowance of Rs.50 per day will be provided to the trainees on the day of attendance. If the proposed program is revised or less than 20 people apply for one training, there will be no obstacle to not conducting the training.
