Tribhuvan University (TU), Examination Control Office, Balkhu Notice Regarding the 50th Convocation Ceremony
Tribhuvan University's 50th Convocation Ceremony is scheduled for Poush 13, 2081 (Saturday), December 28, 2024, at Dasharath Stadium, Tripureshwor. This notice is published for the information of all concerned students.
Instructions for Participants:

Students participating in the ceremony must wear their gowns, scarves, and hats and enter the venue by 10:00 a.m. They should then be seated in their designated places according to the seating arrangement.

Ph.D. and award/medal recipients should sit in the front row in the seat designated with their name.
Detailed Program Schedule:
Distribution of Gowns/Scarves:

Dates: From Poush 5 to Poush 11, 2081 (including holidays)

Time: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Location: TU Examination Control Office, Balkhu

Required Documents: The gown collection form was received when filling out the online form for the convocation ceremony.

Note: Gowns, scarves, and hats will not be distributed at the ceremony venue on Poush 13, 2081. Students must collect them by the specified dates.
Dress Code:

Male Students: Coat, pants, tie, and Bhaktapur hat along with the gown/scarf/hat provided by TU.

Female Students: Formal dress or saree/blouse along with the gown/scarf/hat provided by TU.
Certificate Distribution:
Location:
The certificate distribution counter is on the north side of Dasharath Stadium, near the Nepal Army Headquarters. Students should contact the designated counter according to the SMS they received.
Required Document:
The ceremony slip was received when completing the online form.
Students who attend the ceremony but cannot collect their certificates on the day and those who applied to participate but could not attend can collect their certificates later from the TU Examination Control Office, Records, and Certificates Division, Room No. 3, Balkhu.
Return of Gowns/Scarves/Hats and Refund of Deposits:

Dates: From Poush 14 to the end of Poush, at TU Examination Control Office, Balkhu, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (including holidays).

Procedure: Return the gown/scarf/hat and the Gown Return Form received when completing the online form. The deposit amount of NPR 1,200/- will be refunded via the student's bank account after deducting NPR 300/- for maintenance. No refund will be given if the gown/scarf/hat is lost or not returned. If damaged, NPR 300/- for the scarf, NPR 400/- for the hat, and NPR 500/- for the gown will be deducted from the deposit.
Late Fees for Returning Gowns/Scarves/Hats:
The following late fees will be deducted for delayed returns:

From 2081/10/01 to 2081/10/07: NPR 100/-

From 2081/10/08 to 2081/10/15: NPR 200/-

From 2081/10/16 to 2081/10/22: NPR 300/-
-
From 2081/10/23 to 2081/10/30: NPR 400/-
-
From 2081/11/01 to the end of Falgun: NPR 500/-
Note: The deposit amount will automatically lapse if the specified dates do not return the gowns/scarves/hats.
