Tribhuvan University, Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE), Balkhu Notice regarding the program of the 47th Convocation: As the 47th Convocation of Tribhuvan University will be held on Monday, December 20, 2021 at the premises of Examination Control Office, Tribhuvan University, Balkhu. This information is published for the information of all concerned students.
As the global outbreak of COVID-19 is still ongoing, only students who have received Doctorate, MCH, M.Phil and Convocation Medal / Award in this year's Convocation Ceremony will participate in the Convocation Ceremony.
In case of other students, their respective gowns / scarves / hats can be taken from the respective counter of this office within the specified time and date and their certificates can be obtained from the counter where the certificate will be distributed from the day after the graduation ceremony. The detailed program for the students who will / will not attend the graduation ceremony will be as under:
1) Gown / Scarf / Hat Distribution:
A) Dated 2078 BS from 28th Mangsir to 4th Poush only (will be distributed even on holidays).
B) Hours: 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (maintaining social distance).
C) Location: TU Examination Control Office, from the designated counter in Balkhu.
D) In order to get a gown, scarf / hat at the graduation ceremony, the student must bring the form (including gown collection, gown return and certificate collection) obtained while filling the online form.
2) Dress: Students attending the graduation ceremony must wear the gown / scarf / hat provided by TU.
3) Certificate Distribution:
A) Certificate Distribution will be done from TU Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE) Certificate Distribution Counters in Balkh from 6:30 am to 10:30 pm on 2078 Poush from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm. Distribution will be made only from the concerned branch after that period.
B) In order to get the certificate, it is mandatory to bring the ceremony slip obtained while filling the online form and certified by this office.
4) Gown / Scarf / Hat and Bail Refund:
A) Gown / Scarf / Hat Return Date: 6th Poush 2078 to 12th Poush (excluding holidays)
B) From TU OCE, Balkhu from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm gown / scarf / hat will be taken from the student.
C) In case of loss of gown / scarf / hat, in case of loss or if any one of the three is lost or not returned, the price will be deducted as determined. However, the deposit and guardian fee of the students who do not wear gown / scarf / hat will be fully refunded.
D) The gown refund form received while filling the online form for taking back the deposit must be submitted, otherwise the deposit and other amount will not be refunded.
E) Delay fee will be deducted and deposit will be refunded to the students who do not return the gown / scarf / hat within the above date. Also, for students who have filled up the form but did not wear a gown / scarf / hat, there will be a delay fee to withdraw their deposit.
F) Return of deposit for gown / scarf / hat for delay fee: Date and delay fee
- From 2078/9/13 to 2078/9/17 - Rs. 50
- From 2078/9/18 to 2078/9/22 - Rs. 100
- From 2078/9/23 to 2078/9/27 - Rs. 200
- From 2078/9/28 to 2078/10/2 - Rs. 300
Bail and other amount will not be refunded if the deposit is not taken even within the above date.
