Sheridan College successfully organized an information and networking program on March 18 in Kathmandu and March 19 in Pokhara. The event attracted a significant number of students, parents, and educational consultants who were keen to learn about studying in Canada.
Dr. Janet Morrison, President of Sheridan College, along with Jason Rolls, Associate Vice President of Global Engagement, Corry Samuels, Regional Manager for South Asia, and Nitesh Jung Karki, Senior Recruitment Advisor for Nepal & Bangladesh, participated in the program. They provided valuable insights into academic opportunities, scholarships, student support services, and career prospects in Canada.
The event highlighted Sheridan College’s global vision, industry-relevant programs, and its commitment to ensuring international students, including those from Nepal, receive a high-quality education and support in cultural adaptation. Speakers emphasized the importance of hands-on learning, research opportunities, and collaborations aimed at strengthening educational ties with Nepal.
Prospective students received first-hand information on admission procedures, scholarships, and post-graduation employment opportunities in Canada. The program concluded with an engaging Q&A session, allowing attendees to clarify their doubts and explore future possibilities at Sheridan College. The event was a great success, reinforcing Sheridan’s strong connection with Nepalese students and the education sector in Nepal.
