Saraswati Niketan Secondary School Celebrated its Diamond Jubilee

Saraswati Niketan Secondary School, Kathmandu celebrated its Diamond Jubilee. Medals and certificates were awarded to 315 students who won in various categories in the program held on Friday. Although the school was established on 10th Jestha 2004 BS, due to physical and technical difficulties, the school celebrated its diamond jubilee on Friday. Former Vice-Chancellor of Tribhuvan University Kedarbhakta Mathema said that public schools should be strong.

Deputy Chief of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Sunita Dangol, expressed the opinion that a triangular relationship between students, teachers, and parents is necessary for quality education.

Nuraj Vajracharya, Member of Parliament of Bagmati Province and a former student of the school said that Saraswati Niketan is oriented towards the personality development of students without limiting education only to certificates.

In the program, ex-teachers and working teachers who have completed 25 years of service were honored as well as individuals, organizations, and working teachers and staff who support economically disadvantaged students.
