Nepal Health Research Council to Host 9th National Summit of Health and Population Scientists
The Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC) has announced that it will organize the 9th National Summit of Health and Population Scientists on 28th and 29th April 2023 in Kathmandu. The purpose of this conference is to assist the Nepalese government in formulating and implementing its health policies.
According to Dr. Pradeep Gyawali, the member secretary of the council, the conference will bring together more than 500 health researchers and scientists from Nepal and representatives from 10 different countries. He will present over 150 working papers during the event. Additionally, there will be 137 oral presentations and 64 poster presentations at the conference.
Various awards will also be presented at the conference, including the Health Research Award, Mrigendra Mejkan Medical Trust Young Health Researcher Award, Outstanding Health Researcher Award, and Lifetime Achievement Award.
