Nepal Engineering College said goodbye to its students from the 2018 Architecture batch and the 2019 Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Electronics and Communication batches on Saturday, 18th January 2025. The chief guest at the event was Kulman Ghising, the Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority and a promoter of Ujyalo Nepal.
Mr. Ghising spoke to the departing students, highlighting the many professional possibilities and opportunities available for engineers in Nepal. He motivated the students and mentioned that the Authority has recently sought skilled engineers in various fields, encouraging them to compete for those positions.
During the event, the college principal, Durga Prasad Bhandari; the assistant principal, Mohan Dhwaj KC; the head of the Architecture Department, Anil Kumar Regmi; the head of the Computer Engineering Department, Jeet Bahadur Bohara; the head of the Electronics and Communication Department, Sachin Shrestha, and the head of the Electrical and Electronics Department, Yam Krishna Paudel, and others advised the graduating students to use the knowledge and skills they gained in their bachelor's degrees honestly and diligently in their practical lives.
At the ceremony, Nepal Electricity Authority Executive Director Kulman Ghising, the chief guest, presented the students with subject-specific and program topper awards.
