National Songwriting Competition-2081

Nepal Academy of Music & Drama is going to organize the National Songwriting Competition - 2081 on the occasion of Republic Day - 2081 to help institutionalize the nation, nationalism and republic. Those who are interested in participating should come to the office of the foundation by computer typing or send the song to the email below. is notified. No action will be taken on songs received after the specified time period.

Songwriting Criteria:

1) The song should be of a national spirit that helps to institutionalize the nation, nationality and republic.

2) The song can be submitted in Nepali language or other national languages of Nepal. In case of other national languages, it must be sent with Nepali translation.

3) The song should not be broadcasted or published through any social network, electronic or print media.

Required Documents:

Personal details, one recent passport size photograph, copy of identity card, contact phone/mobile number and email address.

Note: The decision of the evaluation committee regarding song selection will be final. The best songs from seven provinces will be awarded. The best songs will be recorded and music videos of the best three songs will be prepared.
