National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) National Seminar from August 24 to 27:
The National Reconstruction Authority - NRA (Rastriya Punarnirman Pradhikaran) is going to hold a national seminar from Monday to exchange experiences, successes, and learning gained in reconstruction and rehabilitation.
Due to the global epidemic Corona, the seminar is being conducted through virtual media. The program will run from 24th August to 27th August (2077 Bhadra 8 to 11.
According to the NRA, a national seminar is being organized to share experiences, successful practices, and learning gained in reconstruction and rehabilitation in the five years following the 25th April 2015 earthquake.
The secretariat of the organizing committee has stated that there will be two formal and technical sessions. There will be 4 technical sessions every day in the program which will be inaugurated on Monday at 9.30 am.
The technical session will be of 90 minutes and the program will be conducted till 4:30 pm. NEA Executive Committee Member and International Conference Organizing Committee Secretariat Coordinator Dr. Chandra Bahadur Shrestha said that the objective of the seminar was to bring together various bodies and partners, organizations, experts, and individuals involved in the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Nepal. Informed.
The NRA has already scheduled an international conference in November to share with the international community the knowledge, learning and experience gained by Nepal in post-earthquake reconstruction and rehabilitation.
In preparation for the conference, NRA is going to hold various programs including seminars. According to Dr. Shrestha, the six thematic areas of reconstruction and rehabilitation, private housing reconstruction, reconstruction of public and social infrastructure, reconstruction of cultural heritage, livelihood, rescue and relief, and good governance will be discussed in the seminar. 60 research papers will be presented in the seminar.
According to Manohar Ghimire, Joint Spokesperson of NRA and Member-Secretary of the International Conference Organizing Committee Secretariat, the seminar will be attended by representatives of government agencies, donors for reconstruction and development partners, thematic experts, earthquake victims, private sector representatives and presenters of working papers.
