National Open Story Competition by Bharatpur Metropolitan Pragya Pratishthan
The Bharatpur Metropolitan Pragya Pratishthan in Bharatpur, Bharatpur Metropolitan City, Bharatpur, Chitwan, is excited to announce the National Open Story Competition. This event is a fantastic opportunity for Nepali citizens to showcase their storytelling talents. We invite you to participate and express your creativity through this platform.
Eligibility and Submission Guidelines
- Nepali Citizenship Requirement: Participants must be Nepali citizens. Along with your story, please submit a brief introduction, proof of identity (Nepali Citizenship, National Identity Card, Voter Identity Card, Birth Certificate, or any identity card issued by a Nepali government agency), contact details, and a recent passport-size photo.
- Submission Format: Stories must be typed in Nepali Unicode or Priti font and submitted via email to [email protected] by the end of Poush 2080.
- Originality and Language: Your story should be an original work in the Nepali language and not exceed 5000 words.
- Publication Restrictions: Submitted stories must not have been previously published or circulated and cannot be published or broadcast until the competition results are announced.
- Awards and Recognition: The top 5 stories will be selected by an evaluation committee for cash prizes (Best Rs 40,078, Second Best Rs 30,078, Third Best Rs 20,078, and two incentive prizes of Rs 10,078.00 each). Winners will also receive a certificate and have their stories published in the Mahanagara Sahitya Darpan Issue 3.
- Judging and Awards Ceremony: The academic council of Pragya Pratishthan will finalize the awardees based on the evaluation committee's recommendations. Details about the award ceremony will be communicated later.
