NATHM Call for Applications: Liaison Officer Transfer Training Program 

The Government of Nepal's Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, in collaboration with the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM) and the Nepal Mountain Training Institute, is pleased to announce a significant training opportunity for current and aspiring Liaison Officers. This initiative underscores our commitment to enhancing the proficiency and readiness of personnel deployed with mountaineering expeditions across Nepal's majestic peaks.

Training Overview

  • Date and Venue: The training session is scheduled to commence at 7:00 AM on 28th Chaitra 2080 at the premises of NATHM, located in Rabi Bhawan, Kalimati, Kathmandu.
  • Eligibility: Open to civil service employees ranging from gazetted first class to third class, officers of the Nepalese Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, and certified Mount Everest climbers. Applicants must comply with the Mountain Climbing Regulations, 2059, to be considered.
  • Application Process: Interested candidates are required to submit a duly filled application form along with a payment voucher of Rs.5100/- as the training fee. The fee should be deposited to Citizen Bank International Ltd., Account No. 011010000036201. Applications, along with the necessary documents, must reach NATHM within 10 days from the publication of this notice.
  • Required Documents:
    1. Nepali citizenship certificate.
    2. Two recent passport-sized photographs.
    3. Graduation or equivalent academic certificates, including credit and character certificates.
    4. Recommendation letter from the respective ministry/department.
    5. For Everest climbers, a certificate from the Department of Tourism and the entrance exam pass certificate.
    6. Letter of adjustment for civil service employees appointed at the state and local levels.
