Mitsubishi Asian Children's Enikki Festa 2024-2025 Mitsubishi Asian Children's Picture Diary Festival
"Let’s introduce other children in Asia to our daily lives. Express yourself through a picture diary."
This art festival is being organized with the aim of introducing children worldwide to the daily lives of people in Asia through picture diaries. We request the children of our country to participate in creating a picture diary titled "I want to show my life in Asia."
Would you like to participate in this children's picture diary festival by describing your enjoyable daily life to other friends in Asia?
Entry Rules:
- Entry: Each entry must be three pages. Each page should include a drawing describing an event from your daily life along with a short description. (Use drawing paper with colors or crayons, etc.)
- Size: A4 size (297 mm x 210 mm) in portrait orientation, with the drawing at the top of the page and a description of the drawing below. The drawing should occupy two-thirds (upper part) of the page, and the description should be three to five lines below the drawing.
- Eligibility: Children aged 6 to 12 years.
Theme: "I want to show my life in Asia." Any aspect of your daily life can be depicted, such as family, friends, school life, traditions, festivals, clothing, culture, nature, environment, rural and urban settings, etc.
Submission Period:
The picture diary must be submitted to the Secretariat of Nepal National Commission for UNESCO, Singha Durbar, Kathmandu, between Bhadra 14, 2081 and Kartik 30, 2081. Submissions should be sent along with a recommendation from the Education, Development, and Coordination Unit or the school or local authority.
Awards:
- Grand Prix Award (one per country)
- The Grand Prix Award winner and one family member will be invited to participate in the award ceremony and cultural exchange program in Japan, as organized by the international host.
- Mitsubishi Public Affairs Committee Award (one per country)
- Asian Pacific Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations Award (one per country)
- National Federation of UNESCO Associations in Japan Award (one per country)
- Excellence Award (four per country)
Participating Countries: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam, and Japan.
