Mid-Western University Examination Management Office Surkhet, Nepal Notice Regarding the Third Convocation Ceremony

This notice announces that the Third Convocation Ceremony of Mid-Western University will be held on Friday, Falgun 23, 2081 (March 07, 2025) at 11:00 AM at the Central Office of Mid-Western University, Birendranagar 08, Kuinepani. Students who have applied to participate in the ceremony must enter the venue before 10:00 AM on the same day, showing their gown set or convocation application fee receipt, and take their assigned seats. Other information regarding the ceremony is as follows:

A) Gown Set (Gown/Scarf/Cap):

Gown sets will not be distributed on the day of the ceremony, so students must collect their gown sets in advance as follows. Students without gown sets will not be allowed to sit with graduating students.

1. Gown sets will be distributed from Falgun 18 to 22, 2081 (including holidays) from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
2. Distribution location: Mid-Western University, Central Office, Kuinepani.
3. Documents required to obtain gown set: Original receipt of fee payment along with a photocopy of citizenship certificate or any identification document.

B) Dress Code:

Participating students must wear the gown set provided by Mid-Western University over their regular attire.

C) Certificate Distribution:

1. Certificates will be distributed from the certificate distribution counter at the convocation venue.
2. Certificates for students who have applied but cannot attend on the day will be provided by the Examination Management Office on working days after the convocation ceremony.

D) Gown Set Deposit Refund:

The deposit amount will be refunded only after returning the gown set as follows:

1. Gown return period: From Falgun 25 to Chaitra 08, 2081 (except holidays) from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
2. Students must return gown sets to Mid-Western University, Examination Management Office, Itram 07, Surkhet.
3. After returning the gown set, the deposit will be refunded upon submission of the gown set clearance certificate, receipt provided by the Examination Management Office for the application form, and a photocopy of identification document.
4. Deposits will not be refunded for students who fail to return gown sets within the specified period.

Special Notice

Students who have applied to participate in the convocation ceremony and whose photos, certificates, or citizenship details show discrepancies will be contacted via their contact numbers. Such students must contact the Examination Management Office by Falgun 17, 2081 to resolve the issues.

Other necessary procedures will be as per the decision of the Examination Committee of Mid-Western University.
