Microsoft to Organize ‘Microsoft AI Fest Nepal 2025’ in Nepal
Leading technology company Microsoft is set to organize ‘Microsoft AI Fest Nepal 2025’ in Nepal. In collaboration with the National Innovation Center, the company will conduct an AI-related event on April 8.
According to Indra Oli, Director of the National Innovation Center Pokhara, the program will be held physically for one day, while it will be conducted online globally for 50 days. The event will include various AI-related activities, which are expected to help participants gain knowledge about AI and learn new skills.
Participants will receive information on working with AI agents, AI security, Azure AI Foundry, GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Fabric, and more. It is stated that this event will be equally useful for business professionals, students, and other working individuals.
In Nepal, the event will take place physically in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dang. The target is to involve 600 participants in Pokhara, 250 in Kathmandu, and 150 in Dang. Oli mentioned that the specific venues for the event will be finalized soon.
Microsoft stated that the aim of this program is to make AI a part of everyday life and simplify its use. The organization of the AI Skill Fest is believed to provide learners around the world an opportunity to come together and develop AI skills.
Microsoft has announced its attempt to register a Guinness World Record by training a large number of people with multi-level Artificial Intelligence skills online in a single day on April 8, 2025. If successful, the names of the participants on that day will be recorded in the Guinness Book.
Those participating physically for one day will also be required to join online. The event, which will run online for 50 days, will include hackathons, live training, tutorials, on-demand training, community programs, and the Microsoft Learning Challenge.
