KEC Announces OKRP Conference 2025, Exploring Technology's Future
KATHMANDU, NEPAL—Kathmandu Engineering College (KEC) will hold the OKRP Conference 2025 on Saturday, January 25th, at its Kalimati campus. The event, organized by the college's Office of Research and Publications (OKRP), will examine how technology changes different sectors. The conference will begin at 8:00 a.m.
The program will cover a range of topics within different engineering fields:

Civil Engineering: Discussions will include new approaches to infrastructure, transportation planning, soil mechanics, building materials, water management, construction practices, earthquake-resistant design, and safety in construction.

Architecture: Sessions will look at city planning, preservation, climate change adaptation, and new architectural ideas.

Electronics & Computer Engineering: The conference will explore optical networks, 5G technology, cloud computing, network systems, the Internet of Things, and artificial intelligence and data analysis.

Electrical and Mechanical Engineering: This course will explore renewable energy sources, power generation and distribution, power electronics, and bringing electricity to rural areas.
The conference will also address other current issues in applied science.
