The Kaski Retired Teachers Community celebrated its 25th anniversary on Saturday, 11th February 2023, marking its Silver Jubilee with various programs. The organization was founded in the year 1995.
The anniversary event featured the release of silver jubilee souvenirs, awards, and honors. Vamanakumari Parajuli and Ramchandra Dhungana were among the distinguished individuals who were recognized during the program. Additionally, the event also paid tribute to the generosity of Akshayakoshad donors, including George John, Kshetra Bahadur Kunwar, Krishnaraj Paudel, Dinanath Bastola, and Vishwaraj Paudel.
Furthermore, prizes were awarded to the winners of the elocution competition, and these individuals were also recognized by the state chief Prithviman Gurung.
During the event, Provincial Chief Gurung expressed his belief that retired teachers who have spent many years in service should not be neglected by the state. He called for all teachers to unite for their rights and interests.
Several individuals, including Toy Nath Lamichhane, the central vice president of the teachers' community, Ramraj Regmi, the organization's advisor, Narayan Bahadur Pandit, the coordinator of the souvenir editorial board, Krishnaraj Paudel from Akshaya Koshad, life member Mitralal Sapkota, and vice president Nar Bahadur Gurung, spoke during the program. They all agreed that the government should create special arrangements for retired teachers.
