Japanese Film Festival & Japan Day 2024
This year, the Japanese Film Festival 2024 promises an enriching experience with a lineup of films that capture the spirit and creativity of Japanese cinema. Not only will you have the opportunity to watch a selection of films, but you’ll also have the chance to immerse yourself in cultural festivities during Japan Day!
Film Screenings Schedule:
March 15, 2024 (Friday)
- 13:00 pm: "Key of Life" — Dive into a story of unexpected identity swap and quirky fate in this 128-minute film that blends humor and life's surprises.
- 15:15 pm: "Time Scoop Hunter: The Movie" — Journey through time in this 102-minute adventure, capturing thrilling moments from different eras.
March 16, 2024 (Saturday)
- 11:30 am: "Shiori" — Witness a poignant tale that unfolds over 118 minutes, exploring the depths of memory and legacy.
- 13:40 pm: "Neko Ninja" — Spend 95 minutes in the paws of a ninja cat, offering action and laughs for all ages.
- 15:20 pm: "Kamome Diner" — A heartwarming 102-minute film about cross-cultural friendship and the comfort of food.
All films will be showcased at the esteemed Rastriya Nachghar, Jamal, Ktm, with English subtitles provided. Entry to all film screenings is absolutely free, so bring your friends and family along for these cinematic treasures!

Special Cultural Event: Japan Day
March 16, 2024
- 10:30 am to 4:00 pm: Engage with various aspects of Japanese traditions at Rastriya Nachghar, Jamal. You can try on different types of traditional attire such as Kimonos, Yukatas, and Happi coats. Plus, participate in workshops and demonstrations of Calligraphy and Origami, the intricate art of paper folding. It’s a day of fun, education, and appreciation of Japan's rich cultural heritage.
