Gandaki Provincial Sports Council Pokhara Training of Sports Assistant Coaches: As per the approved annual program of the Province Sports Council, Gandaki Pradesh for the fiscal year 2078/79, there is a program to prepare 'assistant coaches in the sports disciplines of Tapasil; The following qualified persons who wish to participate in the training program should apply to the Provincial Sports Council, Gandaki Pradesh, Pokhara in the prescribed format within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of this notice.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
- Nepali citizen,
- Athletes who have passed the secondary level (Class 12) or similar examination, but have participated in international competitions, will have to pass at least the SEE or similar examination.
- Participated in international or national level competitions in the sport in which he wanted to be an assistant coach.
Documents to be submitted by the applicant along with the application:
- Copy of Nepali citizenship certificate,
- Letter of recommendation from the District Sports Development Committee in consultation with the concerned District Sports Association,
- Copy of Secondary Level (Class 12) or equivalent qualification certificate, but in case of players participating in international level competition, at least a copy of SEE or equivalent qualification certificate
- A copy of the certificate obtained at the international or national level in the related (i.e. wanted to be an assistant coach) sport.
- The amount of the application fee is Rs. 1000 (one thousand rupees only). Original copy of voucher deposited 302010020206000 (Deposit Office Code No. 3510339014).
Other training related things:
- The application form to be submitted by the person who is interested to take the training of Assistant Coach should be as mentioned in Schedule 1 of Sports Training and Training Procedure, 2078. ‘Sports Training and Training Procedure, Schedule-1 of 2078’ Pradesh Sports Council, Gandaki Pradesh web site https://gandakisports.gov.np / can be downloaded from the Download Tab.
- The application along with the required documents can also be sent through the Email address of the Provincial Sports Council: [email protected].
- If there is a public holiday on the last day of application, the application can be submitted within the next office hours.
- No action will be taken on the application which has expired and the required documents have not been received.
- The applicant will have to disclose in the application only one of the following disciplines in which he / she wants to become an assistant coach.
Sports Genres for Assistant Coaches:
- Sports and karate disciplines included in the Eighth National Sports Competition.
- Training can be conducted online / face to face or both.
- The training participants will have to arrange their own food and accommodation during the training period. The training organizer will not bear any cost for that.
- The duration of the training will be 12 weeks. Under which 172 hours of experimental training and 116 hours of theoretical training will be conducted.
- Written and experimental examination of the participants will be taken in the training.
- The exam can be conducted online / face to face.
- Certificates will be awarded to the participants and passers in the training.
- Apart from sports science classes, the role of district, state or central sports associations will be indispensable to conduct theory / practical classes of related sports.
