Essay Writing Competition Announced by the Attorney General's Office, Bagmati Province, Hetauda, Nepal
The Office of the Attorney General in Bagmati Province, Hetauda, Nepal, has announced an open essay competition in celebration of its Foundation Day on 2080/12/12. This competition invites legal scholars, professors, practitioners, government lawyers, teachers, students, policemen, and all Nepalese citizens to contribute their insights on the theme "Role of Attorney General in Strengthening Federalism".
Competition Guidelines:
- Theme: Essays must address the "Role of Attorney General in Strengthening Federalism".
- Originality: Submissions must be the author's own work, unpublished and not broadcasted elsewhere.
- Format: Essays should not exceed 2,500 words and must be typed in the Nepali language using Priti font or Unicode.
- Submission Deadline: Essays should be emailed to [email protected] by 5th Chaitra, 2080.
- Awards: The top essays will be considered for publication in journals issued by the Attorney General's office and will receive cash prizes.
Awards Detail:
- First Prize: Rs 10,000
- Second Prize: Rs 7,000
- Third Prize: Rs 5,000
- Consolation Prizes: Rs 4,000 each for two participants
Selection and Publication:
- The winners will be announced on the 9th of Chaitra, 2080, on the office's website.
- The winning essays will also be featured in a special ceremony on the Foundation Day, where the authors will be awarded and have the opportunity to present their work.

- The competition is open to a wide range of participants, from legal scholars to any Nepalese citizen interested in the law and governance.
